I received my bolt kit two days after the message they sent stating they had been shipped. So as long as they aren't moving their shop, it's probably ok to order bolts from them.

Nice progress
Yes Mr. robertob!
It's looking great. Are you going to get some new chrome end caps for the valve cover?
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff

And what did you do to the CS sprocket cover???
I don't have the lengths handy, but I can measure them for you. I used the stock hoses for a pattern, if that helps.
Also, which sprocket cover?
Basscliff - I do plan to find some nice cam caps, but so far I've not seen any good deals. Let me know if you see any.

Robert i have a few..as in prolly three. I have a fourth but it is cracked from apparently getting smacked with a lift or something when i had the motor shipped from the left coast. If you'd like em, i'd be happy to send em your way. Its not all of em, but its a start. I can even polish em up for you if you like.

Thanks for pointing that out! I never noticed before. Must have been a bored PO - I bought the bike from a guy who was going to take it production superbike racing so some parts may have strayed from standard spec.
As for the angle I've set it where it's comfortable for me. I had it lower but my foot kept getting cramped. I wish I had linkage to adjust it perfectly...

I'd also suggest you lower the angle of the shift lever. Looks a tad high.

No Problem.
It actually looks pretty cool.
Wanna trade?

Hey robertbob, I clicked on the link for your transmission book and read some of the reviews on Amazon's website. Wow! That must be some book! Nothing but great reviews. I might go ahead and buy a copy just to have as a reference. I've always got some kind of old vehicle laying around that will eventually need a tranny redo.

I think I'm done - or at least as done as I want to be. Anyone got an early oil-cooled GSXR laying around?
