    1980 GS550ET Sprockets

    Hi all.

    I'm a new member of the GSResource. Can anyone tell me the number of teeth on standard front & rear sprockets on a 1980 GS550ET

    13 front
    38 rear
    1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
    1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

      I could be wrong and I don't like to disagree with Chef, him being so knowledgeable and all. But all the info that I have including the Suzuki Factory manual for the GS550ET say the sprockets are 15 and 50.
      Can anyone verify this.

          Sorry folks. Got the info off the JT sprocket site.
          1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.

                Is it(15 front, and 50 rear is correct. (530 chain)?).
