        That's what friends are for

        Mr. Rob Arther,

I spoke to a guy a few months ago who used to be a service manager for a couple of bike dealerships. He loves the old UJMs. He calls himself "The Bike Whisperer" and works in north OC, Fullerton area. He seemed real and asked the right questions when I talked to him about my carbs, but I haven't used him yet. If you'd like to give him a call, his name is Jim, shoot me a PM and I'll give you his phone number.

But I'm thinking I'll give Mr. Nessism, Mr. chef1366, or Mr. rapidray a shout and ride over there sometime when my carbs need it. I can supply the barley pop.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

        BassCliff

Soda pop with the foam on top! \\/

Helped Salty_Monk do his carbs a couple weeks ago. Recently bought that fancy smancy Motion-pro long reach adjuster tool for CV/BS carbs (works great on the outer adjustment but doesn't reach the center because the frame backbone is in the way). VM carbs are easier to adjust in my experience since each carb is separate.

I'm agreeable to help anyone, with anything, in terms of doing repair work. Just ask, and be willing to learn and help. 8-)
