Pilot fuel screw

Hey guys. 82' 850GZ with 21K on it. I am planning on FINALLY replacing the gaskets on my bike because my mechanic and I have some spare time coming up this friday and saturday. I know he is going to synch the carbs again and I have noticed that the pilot fuel screws are real easy to turn and am wondering is there any maybe "blue" loctite that I could put on the screws before he synchs the carbs again?? It could be me imagining this, but the screw seems very easy to turn and almost with vibrations from the bike it would slightly turn. Thanks for the input.

There is a spring under the screw, along with a small washer and O-ring. The spring pushes up on the screw which should be sufficent to keep it from turning on it's own. Use loctite and you may never get the screw to turn again.

Leave it alone except to maybe turn out a 1/2 turn to run better(mine were 1 1/2 turns out and I added another 1/2 turn on 3 of them). 3 of mine turn easy but don't move on their own from vibration or anything like that because of the spring mentioned above. The 4th is buggered up from a previous owner and I'm unable to adjust. Bike is running pretty good now with valve adjustments and new carb o-rings I just did, so I won't chance ruining my carb by trying extraction methods just to be able to turn a screw that doesn't appear to need it or ever again anyway(hopefully!).
note: you ARE talking about the pilot mixture screws on the engine side of carbs, right?

Yeah lurch12_2000 I am. I havent been riding in a couple of weeks because of snow but this friday and Sat I am going to finally replace the gaskets.
