    OK.I try to make it by myself, but just in case, how much it cost on that side of sea?

    You mean stator?

    About $120 in US for a new one, or $60-80 for rewind.

      Good luck with making the repair. Along with the advice in the Stator Papers on this site, here is another reference with maybe more pictures:



      (OK, it's a Honda, but electricity is electricity!)

          I just looked at that article and have to question its validity for Suzuki systems. In the article, the author was winding the coils in alternate directions. In my mind, that is defeating the purpose. Evidently the Honda systems (at least in their dirt bikes, upon which the article is based) are wired differently.
