Same tire brands?
Just a question about tire brands. I know the size of the front and rear has to be in spec with what your bike says. I am just curious if I can have a different brand in the front and a different one in the rear. Or should I have the same brand front and rear. Thanks.Tags: None

It sort of matters if you're really hauling at maximum lean angles, but... if you're asking this sort of question, then you're most likely not pushing the bike hard enough to matter.
And some people who do push their bikes pretty hard happily mix tire brands based on whatever they found cheap on eBay that month.
As long as it's a reasonably modern tire design and the tire is in good shape, don't worry about it. The condition of the tire is more important than the brand.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.

Thanks again bwringer. Good point. Just had to make sure before I get a new front tire sometime early spring.
