    weird problem

    got a 78 gs550 rides great but today i rode it home no problem hit the off switch now i have no power at the ignition checked the battery full charge none of the lights come on no head light nothing think it may be an ignition problem any other ideas Note checked the ground fine not sure about the coil but that does'nt cover the no power issues all of the the connection to the ignition is fine as far as i can see i'm just stumped or mabey my brain has stopped working anyway any ideas please get back to me

    It has been a problem with the old really old kill switches to give up the ghost rather suddenly. Check the switch itself to see if when you turn the power back on, it is actually closing the connection. It could be that it isn't.

      Change the fuses even if they look good.
