    fuel

i too am having fuel problems, pulled off the tank,70 here today in tn and i can;t ride ,the larger line will allow me to blow back through it but closes when i suck on it.the small line will not allow either on either setting.just a very small blip and then it closes.these petcocks are killing my desire to ride

Faulty gas cap vent, causing it to develop vacuum in tank?

Clogged fuel petcock filter shutting off flow?

Critters got in and clogged main fuel line while engine was out?

Here in the west stateside there's some kind of critter that makes a hard muddy nest with a larvae inside in any orifice, tube etc. that it can find. Could be why Levis were invented, don't know. A stout wire up the pipe/tube will check for obstruction, or if possible blow through it. Sounds like something pretty simple to me.

        Martin,
always worth trying blowing down the fuel pipe to push a bit of petrol into the carb body. I take it you've got good compression?
