    spraying compessed air into carbs?

    Is this a bad idea?

That would depend on how much and where.

If you have the carbs apart and have sprayed carb cleaner through the passages, following with compessed air is a good idea.*
However, caution must be used if the carbs are still assembled, as you don't want to take the chance of tearing the diaphragms if you have CV carbs.

*This good idea is even better if you are wearing safety glasses.

I already spreyed air into the carbs, well not directly into them but around them, well I cleaned the air filter yesterday and checked the spark plugs and when I put everything back together it wouldnt run worth a crap, it feels like its missing a cilinder or something, do you think that there is some way I may have broken a spark plug wire or something? thanks.
