Mikuni jets
I've decided to rebuild the carbs (along with a bunch of other stuff) on the GS1100 and would like to replace the after-market main and pilot jets with originals. I'm confused by the pictures and nomenclature and want to make sure I order the right ones...can anyone help? I know the sizes but the other numbers are confusing. (I could order them from the Suzuki dealer but they're much cheaper elsewhere.) Thanks!1980 GS1100E....Number 15!Tags: None

Not sure which carbs you have or jets you would need but Parts Unlimited sells Mikuni OEM jets and lists them by carb type and size.82 GS850L - The Original http://s224.photobucket.com/albums/d...ePics067-1.jpg

Thanks! I think I've got the pilot jet figured out but the main jet is confusing me. It's got to be either the 100/604 or the 102/221. I'm thinking it's the 100/604 but don't feel certain enough to order them.8-[1980 GS1100E....Number 15!

I am not familiar with the RS carbs but the on mine the CV's have single numeric listings for the jet sizes. I am no expert but I thought the other Suzuki stock OEM carbs were VM's for the 80 & earlier models.82 GS850L - The Original http://s224.photobucket.com/albums/d...ePics067-1.jpg

Thanks! I know the sizes but there are a number of Mikuni jets that come in all of those sizes....and several of them look alike (especially in pictures).1980 GS1100E....Number 15!

You might wanna try this:
Whenever I ain't absolutely sure about something I post here...........then if I still have a question I contact Jeff at Z1-Enterprises.
I can find you the web-locale for Z1-Enterprises if you can't find it on the site. Jeff is very helpful and he specializes in these machines (you probably knew that).
