Contents Of Berryman's Carb Dip
Hi there. Can anyone, someone, whoever, give me the contents that the Berryman's Carb Dip is made from please? Quantities would also be good if that can be supplied. Any help at all greatfully appreciated. I am just not convinced the stuff I am using is doing the job. And there does not seem any way to be sure the passages are clean apart from putting the carbs back on the bike and test riding. Don't want to do that. Please help.Tags: None

Don are you rinsing them with water and then blasting the orifi with air?? The Berrymans, if left and not rinsed, will turn into a sticky goo when it dehydrates. also, take a can of spray carb cleaner with the lil red straw on the end and stick it in the pasageways and jets. If it comes out the otherside, you're likely good to go. Be carefull tho, as some of those passages come right around to back in your face, ask me how i know. Also, while the can of Berrymans says to soak for 30 mins...I have it on good recommendation, and also from personal experience, try more like a DAY. Works much better.

It's a floor wax, and a desert topping!
Hi Mr. Suzuki_Don,
My research shows the active agents to be cresylic acid, methylene cloride and xylene. I don't know ratio or the non-active ingredients.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff

TCK, Don's situation is that he lives on the other side of the Equator, and Berryman's is not available to him.
Don, maybe this will help you out. It is the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for Berryman's.

Msds
Any time you want to know the exact ingredients and ratios of chemicals in products, you can usually find it by searching MSDS sheets, ofyen readily available online.
