Sea foam after top end rebuild?

Hey guys. 82' 850GZ. I am almost done with everything and will fire up the bike in the next week. I will get pics for you guys as I have pics from my bike before. Anyways, should I add a little sea foam to my tank after it is up and running and putting in gas for the first time? Or is Sea foam for when the engine and carbs need a cleaning? Thanks again.

Just my viewpoint, and ive seen suggested that some seafoam added to the case is helpfull, but assuming that you've done a full rebuild, and were pretty clean with it (ie not letting crap drop down in to the case) then i honestly dont see in advantage to it. Provided you've cleaned the carbs and what not, i would think, untill you break all those new parts in propperly, you'd want as much fresh, pure oil lubricating everything. Just my opinion as i said, some may feel differently.

The main purpose for seafoam is to strip carbon from inside the cylinder. If the engine has been rebuild and cleaned that there is no reason for seafoam.

Blast on and off the throttle, no steady speeds, no easy cruising.

An empty highway too early in the morning to have traffic is wonderful.
