1100 "g"
i've been doing alot of browsing for parts as of late, and i've notcied alot of sites don't have a just "G" model 1100.. i'm wondering why? is there an extra letter i'm missing and i was just never aware of it? the title says just g.. and when i found pictures of the just g, it's exactly what i've got.Tags: None

i found the answer to my own question. it has to do with the model designation for the year. technically, my bike is a GZ

GS1100GZ is 1982. There's also a GS1100GLZ.
GS1100GD is 1983, as well as the GS1100GLD.
I have a GS1100GKE, which is a 1984 GK. There were no straight "G" models in North America in 1984.

yep. it's an 82. i looked at the body styling for the GLZ, and its definitally not that. so i'm guessing it's supposed to be the GZ.. on all the paper work i have for it it's listed as just G though was confusing. some sites have just G you can look up, and some have GZ, GD etc and i was unsure which i needed to choose!
