    Pods and Rejetting

At this point, I've decided that removing/reinstalling the carbs on the GS700 with the airbox is a HUGE pain in the ass. There's very little clearance to get them out.

I need to rejet anyway, because I've got stock mains and a 4-1 header so it's currently falling on it's face up top because of how lean it is.

So, it's time to go with pods. Is dynojet the only way to go? Is there any reason to go with the stage 3 only jet kit instead of the stage 1 & 3 jet kit for the same price? I mean, I'll only be using the stage 3 part but if the stage 1 + 3 includes all the same stuff I don't see a reason not to go with it.

http://www.mawonline.com/google/19481.HTM is the cheapest place I can find to buy it, anybody know of anywhere better?

    thanks

Same place I got my kit. I think Dynajet is the way to go. They hit it pretty darn close. That kit will also some with a drill bit to remove the caps from pilot screws and to enlarge the hole in the float.

Caps are already gone on mine, but the guy was cheap and all he did was get it to idle right.

hole in the float? You mean in the slide?

err, these Mikunis are WEIRD vs the Keihins that I'm used to. The slide portion is round, and you need a pair of circlip pliers to get the needle out. Makes it a bit of a PITA I think.

You can get it out with small needle nose, but it is a pain.
