    Hi Mr. zblip2,

I read somewhere that using a hair dryer to gently heat the cover can make it more pliable and easier to work with. Even after it's installed you can use a hair dryer for a little nip and tuck to take out wrinkles if necessary. Sounds like you got it close enough. How about a picture? :-D

    Thank you for your indulgence,

I wasn't impressed with the cover I got either... think it's the same make. Fit was pretty terrible.

Hmmm, I wonder if you guys got the same one I did? I liked the way mine turned out. It was the Travelcade by Saddlemen, # S633 for my 850GT.

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

          Travelcade

I have a Travelcade cover on the GS1100 and it fits really well. Unfortunately, they felt it was necessary to sew on a hideous looking "Travelcade" tag 'smack dab' in the middle of the upper back section which I very carefully excised with a scalpel. Pretty tacky if you ask me!:?

My experiences with Travelcade/Saddlemen has been less than satisfactory. The seat cover I ordered from JC Whitney (Travelcade) was hard to install, stretching it over the seat, some of it ripped, the keyhole didn't line up, and when I ordered my new king/queen saddle from Travelcade/Saddlemen it came with no way to install the rubber blocks, it was 2" short, the cover didn't line up with the keyhole (as bad as the seat cover I bought), so I'm very unhappy with their quality. I read the warranty, and I really have no recourse, so I'm living with their poor job until it's worn out, then I'll find someone else to make a seat for me.

Im with Cliff. Not bad for what it cost. I stretched mine a little too tight. I could do A better installation if I had to do it again. Im living with the little red tag. Its kinda like a pair of levis. If I had the $$$ Id get a Corbin.
