GS 1150 rear shock

The GS 1150 was only sold in ES and EF versions in Sweden and called GSX 1100 ES or EF.

If you check for GS 1150 spare parts in Swedish lists you should check for GSX 1100 ES/EF.

E model parts for 1984- 87 are normally not avalible in Sweden.

If you see "only" GSX 1100 in a Swedish spare parts list they normally referee to the models up to 1983, from 1984 - 87 the ES/EF should be added.

For the GS 1150 the ?hlins model 46 ers should fit according to their list http://www.ohlins.com/46ers.shtml

The Ohlins website used to list the GSX1100 for 84-87 but it no longer does. it only goes up to 83 for the GSX1100's. I think your right about the 46 ERS. Has anyone ever tried this unit?

Also does anyone have any details on swapping a GSXR swingarm for the stocker? What if any machining is required etc?

Shock
