help me identify my bike by VIN #
i have a gsxr 1100 unfortunatly i dont have the paperwork on it .I went to my insurance agent to obtain ins.on it while getting the title.I gave them the VIN # off the frame and was told that it does not match the year that I was told the bike is. can anyone help me identify the year of this bike by VIN #? I was told that it is a 1995 gsxr 1100. here is the VIN #JS1GR7BA4P2100551 thanks for the help MRBILL! A point of procedure, do we usually edit our posts for stuff like this? I find that posting a second time makes the time line more logical. I read the OP thinking "why is he asking, he has the answer right there?" Then I realized what happened.

Oh no, I was not criticizing you at all, I'm new here and was wondering how they do things. Some boards like you to edit the first thread, while others ( the ones I am most familiar with) dont even let you edite past a 5 minute window or so. (those are usually more cantankerous ones where people might go back and alter a post in mid arguement)
