Confusion
There's been a lot of confusion regarding jets. You need the BS30/96 type. The VM jets will work (and I'm sure have often been used) but the bike won't run right.
As far as re-jetting, if your bike is stock, I believe it would be far easier to solve your problem by finding out why it's rich.....'cause with the stock 42.5 jet, that's not the problem.Last edited by chuckycheese; 05-19-2008, 01:09 PM.1980 GS1100E....Number 15!
