okay, ohms is 7.56, plus I looked on line at alpha sports parts, there's suppose to be a hose hooked to it , well that's missing, so I'm going to try to get that part connected as well. I'm also checking the float valves so hopefully I can ride by this weekend.

Okay through all this now the fuel Petcock is spewing gas everywhere? Where can I find a new one that's not outrageously expensive?

is it leaking?
from where?

is this witht he gas line off and the unit set to prime
if it is then thats the way its sposed to work
if its on run then it should shut off
if its on res it should also be shut off as bith run and res require engine vaccum to act upon the diaphraghm that actuated and internal valve allowing fuel to flow.

ok, there are two things on the gas tank. the petcock and the fuel level sender. petcock is on the #1 cylinder side, fuel level sender is on the #4 cylinder side. the petcock has a gas line and a vacuum line connected to it, and the fuel level sender only has a drain hose connected.

1983 suzuki gs550es

It's the petcock main gas line. I took off the gas tank to get to the air mixture screws, it wasn't leaking before then the last time i took the tank off it just started spewing gas everywhere so I had to empty it. Does anybody want to by this bike? 500.00 come pick it up.
