    regulator dilemma?

Maybe a thread for discussion area but the topic appears so much in the technical forum....Granted we feel the Suzuki OEM r/r is lame, but it seems more people are just throwing any other r/r from any other bike at the solution and then asking all sorts of wiring questions (5, 6 or 7 connections and how they hook up?) on the forum. A little advice...just buy a replacement from Duaneage for $40-45 and use his wiring instructions. He's tested and thought it out already. I have used them in each of my 1100G and 1100ES with no problems. You won't be breaking new ground and trying to get the forum to resolve your r/r wiring dilemma.

The last time I noticed that he posted anything, his sig line said he was out of stock.

    Has he replenished his supply?

by the way, I recently got one from him, and it's doing a wonderful job. \\/

I just got one from him 2 weeks ago, and his tag line indicates that he's got them....but I'll let him speak for himself.

There are options, you can install an r/r off an Arctic Cat from 2002-3, you can score one of these for about $50 (3yellow, 1red, 1black, 1blue). Or just put on a Ricks, they have worked well for a few people here.

I'm getting them i but it takes time. I just got a glass blasting cabinet today, so cosmetics are going to be much improved.

I've lurked on some of the threads where mounting brackets are being fabricated, extra wires ignored, and sometimes 2 phase RRs are attempted where a 3 phase is required.
