    Tire Problem

I just ordered a set of tires for my '80 GS 550L. Like a dummy, I ordered what I though were the right size tires for my bike without looking at the wheels.

I seen everyone here used 120/90 18 size tires for the back tire so that is what I ordered. Well it turns out that my bike as 17" wheels! Is this a normal size wheel for this bike? I thought everyone had 18" rear wheels.

So, what size tire should I order for the 17" wheels, 120/90 17?

    I use 130/90-17

I have a spare tire from where tireexpress.com screwed me over. Let me know.

Most L models are 16" so you are fortunate.

I'll pack this one off and ship it back. The only problem now is that Dennis Kirk only carries 130/90 17, that should work fine right?

sounds like you should be ok with the 130
