    The perfect Father's Day gift?

Yeah, the picture was taken yesterday, but what could be better than a driveway full of Suzukis?

The bikes belong to (left to right)
    850L, Steve's wife, Bonita
    1100E, Mike Riddle
    850G, Steve's son, Brad
    1100G, Josh, TheCafeKid
    750L, Cole, N1ElkyFan

Hidden behind TCK's bike (where everybody is looking) is Steve's Wing.

      GS community

I would like to publicly thank some GSR folks for mechanical rescue of my bike. I am slooowly learning how to do some things on these bikes, and have learned a lot from the posts, but there is nothing better (for me) than standing over someone's shoulder and watching it being done.

A few weeks ago, RageZro and TheCafeKid helped me out by rebuilding my forks. This weekend, Steve, TheCafeKid and N1Elkyfan spent many hours on my behalf showing me the how-to and benefits of a simple carb teardown, inspection, cleaning, (new O-rings) and proper calibration / sync.

I rode home on a new bike!!

      Thanks fellas

Oh and Steve and TheCafeKid are still at it helping me with my new old GS .. there will be another post for that story.

Ya know? I have noticed an extra bike in my garage.

Anybody need parts from a really nice '81 1100E?

As noted above, we were up all night, took a nap from about 6:30 to 9:30 this morning, went out to breakfast, then finished the carb sync. After escorting mriddle and RageZro through a nice little set of curves to get them headed in the right direction, I came home and collapsed.
I was going to start on the carbs tonight, but decided that a one-day delay was not going to hurt a thing, so ... good night, all.

That's awesome...and will be MY driveway this coming Saturday. Four of my local GSR members are headed to my house for a nice lunch BBQ. The plan is to wrench on a couple bikes, have some good fellowship getting to know one another, and cap it off with an evening ride. I can't wait!

Yes, it is, but after most of the Zukes had left, there was an absolutely GORGEOUS KZ1000ST sitting there, too.

Thanks for gracing my driveway, RageZro.

Do you mean that I have to GIVE them away?

DANG, I was hoping to make a few bucks on this deal.
