    VM carb cleaning

OK, so we have the CV carb cleaning series, where's the VM carb cleaning series?

The workshop manual shows detailed pictures and a cople of pages on disassembly and reassembly and a bit about seting the carb up.

Am I missing something straight forward or blindingly obvious?

It's way easier, much simpler carburetors. Just don't clean the parts it doesn't have. :-)

Cleaning them is very straightforward. I've had mine apart several times and a month ago I knew nothing about them.

        Go to http://members.dslextreme.com/users/...rb_rebuild.pdf

        And get the O-rings!

Go to the main GSR page
Scroll down to the Technical section, click on In the Garage
Scroll down, just before you get to The Stator Papers you will see VM Carbuetor Rebuild

It is a 10-page document that is every bit as useful as the CV series.
