valve clerances 1980 550L

Looking to do the valve clearances in the near future (when the gaskets get here) just wanted to confirm that the 550 uses the 0.03-0.08mm same as the 850 in the tutorial.

Valve Clearances

My Haynes Manual which is for the GS550 1977-1982 lists 0.03-0.08. On my 1981 GS550L, adjusting the valves made an enormous difference in starting it as well as eliminated the occasional backfiring at higher RPMs. It's definately well worth doing.
