        Hope you don't get burned out, with all the wild fires out there. Spent some time up around San Francisco a few years ago, loved it.

            1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
            1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

              Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since I started this thread. I want to thank all of you for all the help, especially the link to ebay for a really clean rearend which I got. I ordered a new "driven hub" got everything back together again roadtested it, everything smooth as silk. I would have had this done 10 days ago but the driven hub delivered by UPS sat between my front doors for 10 days. I never use the front door and have never had a delivery left there before so I didn't think to look there. Now for my next project, replacing the carb Orings to cure a lean condition which I diagnosed via GS Resources.......Thanks again, John S.
