My opinion is the Vesrah is lower quality & the EBC is the way to go if you don't want or can't afford Suzuki plates. Do NOT EVER use the Barnett "Extra" plate kits as they will damage your clutch hub. Even if ti takes awhile, it will cause damage! I am a fan of the stock Suzuki plates as they last the longest. I am a drag racer & abuse them as good as anyone & stock lasts! Ray.

well the linkage moves freely so it isnt the cable when i put it through the gears i can "feel" it going in each gear but i can release the clutch and nothing happens. so i am assuming that the clutch is fried

ok so i put the bike up on its center stand and tried to hold the shaft like in the thread posted but i could not the shaft engages if i stop it at the wheel it is still trying to "roll" forward. so to me this would be the clutches right? if i go through the gears it slows way down if i give it throttle it just raises the RPMs of the motor.
appreciate the help thus far

Get out your wrenches and a camera. Open up the clutch cover and use BassCliffs guide to remove the rear wheel. If youre not sure what youre lookin at post up the pictures.82 1100 EZ (red)
