I need a Wrench for the Plugs on my GS
HELP!! I am unable to find the correct wrench to remove (and replace) the plugs on my 82' GS1100E. What size should it be and where should I go to get this tool?Tags: None

Spark plug wrench size 13/16 inch or 21 millimetres.
(deep socket)
Any auto supply, tool store or hardware should have them.
A socket intended for spark plugs usually comes with a flexible insert that holds the plug in the socket while being removed or replaced.A take-away:

I'd have to beg to differ, it's an 18mm,for E model, if you can't find one for sparkplugs, just get a deep 18 and cut a 1" piece of 3/8" fuel line and insert in socket to protect plug ceramic

correct daveo, the 16 valve engine's use a smaller plug than the 8valve "G" engines. I believe the 18mm translates to a 3/4 inch socket.

Use 18MM
A 3/4 inch socket would probably work but I'd shell out the 3 or 4 bucks and get an 18mm. They sell them at Kragen, Napa or any autoparts store and, at least in my area, sell for slightly over $3. Go ahead and splurge!!1980 GS1100E....Number 15!
