    fine tuning

So thanks to the help of this site my gs 550l is running better than it has in the two years i have owned it, and it's actually somewhat reliable now!
Just a couple things left to take care of. It is running well but still has trouble idleing sometimes. I think i need to adjust the fuel/air screws a little better. What is a good procedure for doing so? the screws are currently 3 1/2 turns out. Oh the bike is a 1982 and I have done a thorough carb cleaning and replaced all rubber components.

Search for "highest idle method". I've had trouble getting it to work right, but it's the correct way to do it. 3.5 just off the top of my head sounds pretty rich.

That too. I know some of my current idle problems are that I only bench synced after the tear down I did a couple weeks ago, but they are coming apart again this weekend, so not gonna mess with it now just to have to do it again in a week.
