    Forgot to add. The old cable had maybe 2 wires left on the lever end. good thing i changed it, she would have broken when i was out in the middle of nowhere.

      The New Cable did it ! The bike shifts fine now, better that ever now.

            BTDT. Next time you order parts you might want to get an extra cable.

            Mine had only one strand of wire left !

            I sprayed some white lithium grease in the new cable housing.
