I am getting ready to re-assemble my carbs and the last thing I need to do is to clean the slides. Should I jsut use carb cleaner on them be careful to not get much on the diaphram?

Do NOT use carb cleaner on rubber! It will deteriorate the rubber. Use Brakleen! Ray.Comment

Spray it on a clean rag and wipe the slide.
