    79 gs750 & 80 gs750 carbs

are these carbs the same? i have the 79 and dynojet only makes the stage 3 jet kit for the 80 gs750. will this jet kit work in my 79? thanks.

No they wont. The jets for the DynoJet kit are gauged off of the BS32SS carbs, and the set up for them. Your carbs (VM26SS) have an entirely different set up. You CAN however purchase the main jets that you will need to jet for whatever it is you are jetting for from Z1Enterprises.com. You will need to figure out what size of main you will need, and the jet needle will likely need to be moved as well. In YOUR carbs, the needle comes with adjustment range, whereas the BS32s do not. Basicly, you can jet your carbs by hand, once you figure out what size main you need and where the needle needs to be.

I am currently in the process of dialing in nearly the same set up on my 77, which would more or less be the same bike as yours. You're going to want to try sticking with the stock #15pilot jet, try a 127.5 main jet. I have moved the needle in mine, but think i will need to move it back. So try leaving yours in the stock position. I will update further on my findings, as its running pretty good with my set up, but not quite perfect yet.
