Mine are originals almost 30 years old. Still good but maybe time to get something more modern materials

+1 for Oury's. I even put them on my mountain bikes. I just wish they were about 6-1/2 inches long....

+2 for the Oury's I have them on the 1100G and the 750B Cafe. I love em! They are comfy, help in reducing any vibration, and they have a nice tacky feel (tho not GROSS) especially when wet. For the money, cant beat em

My 81 GS750L have the stock bars will these fit ? Is it a standard thing with bars/handles ?

They will fit just fine. For cosmetics, you may find you want to trim the little flange off the back of your throttle sleeve as it will show. The stock grips went over this flange.

+3 on the Ourys. They are one of the few grips I found that are long enough to fit the bars.
