    Quick and easy question

'81 GS750L..Just got a rear air filter box in decent shape. The fiche doesn't show it well and I have never seen one in person. There is a rubber booted hole that when it's attached to the bike will be on the right and facing downward. Is it just the air intake or does something else attach to it?

The air filter container part of the box normally connects to a rubber gasket with 2 clamps that is attached the main airbox with the carbs on.

Its normally left on the part of the airbox with the carbs.

Yeah, I understand that. What the hole in the red circle for?

That is your main air inlet. Nothing attaches to it.
