    New intake boots works wonders...

Ok, on the road again. Vroom Vroom!

My new intake boots came in late today, put them on, and vroom vroom!

Question (for Robert Barr). I got the intake gaskets from Mr. Barr, but they were small. I had to stretch them into the boots, cover them with a piece of thin cardboard, put the cardboard on the cyl head and slip the cardboard out. Where the ones I got too small? I think maybe. But, they are on and working, so...

Anyway, I'm going to Astoria, OR tomorrow if anyone wants to join me. PM me.

I cant wait to have my bike do the same when I get my intake boots and o-rings. Glad to hear your bike is going vroom vroom. I would take care of those o-rings though. Although the o-rings you have now may work, I would order the larger ones if you have to stretch and make them fit on your boots. Have fun man.

I suspect you have the proper o-rings, the wrong size won't fit at all. A little grease in the o-ring groove usually is enough to hold them in place during install.

Good news indeed, enjoy the bike! Always joyous to hear of a problem solved and a GS owner enjoying his ride.
