Looking for guards for my 82 GS750E. Will guards from an 81 GS850 fit?

There is always a chance they will fit, but it might not be quite perfect.
I found a set of 1100 case guards that I put on a 650L. They stick out a bit farther than they should, but it's nice to not have to remove the guard to remove the ignition cover, too.

Probably not -- the 850 was a development of the earlier 8 valve 750 (so these might work), but has little in common with the later 16 valve 750.
Going from memory of the 16V 750 I looked at a few days ago, the engine mounts (where the case guards attach) seemed to be in different places than on the 850.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
