    Fork Rebuilding advice?

Putting in some Progressive springs pretty soon here.

Also, the left fork leg is leaking pretty good, so new seals are probably needed.

Is there anything else I should be looking at doing? Advice?

I've never done a set of forks before, so naturally I'm a bit apprehensive about doing this.

Anything you can throw me would be great.

If its up around 40 000miles consider replacing the fork bushings,...consider them anyway... oh, and don't use ATF,use fork oil

Just turned over 17K today. Do you think it's worth it? How much for the parts?

I really dont want to have to dig into them again, at least for a good long while, so anything i can do now would be excellent.

If the chrome on the legs is pitted and that's what's causing the leaks, while you've got them apart, get them ground and hard chromed. Not real expensive and will give you long term reliability.Cheers,Simon.

Make sure you follow the procedure for correct fork alignment upon reassembly.

Factory service manual calls for changing the bushings EVERY time the forks are torn down. A bit excessive I think but I'd do it on forks with 17k.

Might be a little hard for you to do, ya know, as you actually have to PAY for the item once you decide to buy.
                        Good luck with that.

Then why did you ask me for them, have me remove them from the engine and tell me you'd pay me only to disappear? How does this make me the bad guy for not rolling over for your bull**** tactics?
I don't even want your ****ing money, I just expect people to live by their word, and if you didn't want them the least you could do is tell me so. You seem to think its fine, whatever.
I just hope people will see you for what you are and decide not to do business with you.
