Where to buy fuel hoses
I was wondering where you guys bought your fuel/vacuum hoses from? I want to get some clear hoses so I can see my fuel going through. Thanks.Tags: None

Fuel hoses are usually
available at your local mom-n-pop hardware store. Go and ask them for weed eater fuel line, they will bring out some that is too small, then ask them to go to their supply catalog and look for some larger stuff of the same type. Mine is translucent yellow. I can see clearly when gas is in the line, and being weed eater fuel line it is very fuel and heat resistant.1981 GS750L (sold)

I have Shade Tree - Middlefield right down the road from me, and i have bought the clear fuel line from them, its not always clear, its what ever color they have at the time, lately it has been red. still can see the fuel flow through it easily.

never had anything shipped from them, so i couldn't tell you how their shipping prices are.
since the link doesnt go where i intended, look under the snowmobile section.... then the engine components section, there should be fuel line there.

Motorcycle shops typically carry translucent fuel hose. If you purchase from a hardware store make sure the hose is safe for gas, many clear hoses are simple vinyl and won't hold up.Ed

Cycle Recycle II sells this clear blue polyurethane stuff that is Da Bom. It lasts for years and years and years, is very resistant to kinking, and is the perfect combination of stiff/stretchy to stay on fittings without a clamp, yet can be removed easily.
