    Anyone on HERE sell parts?

I'm rebuilding a set of carbs from a 80GS 550 and the round spring retainer that clips around to hold the float needle walked away. I don't want to spend 20$ to get it from a rebuild kit.

Anyone have something lying around they would sell me??

    Thanks ~Gavin

I have one but you don't need it.
I've put many carbs back together without them.

      Good to GO! Thanks Man

How about another question. There's an aluminum tapered plug that pushes from the bottom up, then the float bowl gasket covers it. Is there another round gasket to fill up the hole since it doesn't sit flush??

If it is above the float bowl gasket, I believe the correct answer is yes, there is a oring that does go there. But again like chef says you don't need it.

I never knew the oring or the retainer clip existed until I pulled apart my brother's virgin carbs and found them. The rest of the carbs I have been through didn't have these items and ran fine without them.
