GS 1100 (82) Where to buy choke cable?

Anyone know where I can buy a choke cable for my 1100 (1982)?

My usual sources do not seem to have it. Thanks!

Have you tried the common OE sources like Bikebandit, motogrid, flat out cycle, etc.?

      suggestions

BikeBandit has jack. It does not even appear in the schematic. Have not tried the other two, will do that now. Thanks for the suggestions!

Try looking in a different diagram. Cables are typically in the handlebar section so dig some more - choke cable is there somewhere...I think.

          Starter cable?

Handlebar section - who would' thunk? Thanks for the tip. Is it what they are calling the "starter cable"?

Starter cable?...sounds about right in a broken English sort of way.

That's what they call it on my 850.

I recently ordered an aftermarket one for my '81 550L from denniskirk.com: BAD idea! The cable was the right length, but the connection at my handlebars was totally wrong

This is definitely a part to go stock with. Live and learn.

                    Hi Mr. stevepoole1,

In the picture below (from BikeBandit), I think you need #19. Their part# 509092-001 ($8.73).

The real Suzuki OEM part number is 58410-49500, but has been superseded by part number 58410-49X02; this according to www.alpha-sports.com, number 9 on THIS PAGE.

Please double check my research before ordering.

                    Thank you for your indulgence,

                    BassCliff
