    Carb Bolt Kit

I was wondering if anyone knew of a allen head bolt kit for the carbs?

Look and see if you have a bolt house or something similar. Bring in the old POS phillip screws and match them up with allen S/S.

Or you can try this eBay store.

Just type "GS850 carb" in the store search window.

I don't like hex key screws due to difficulty in install/removal. I bought new phillips head screws from the local hardware store. On my 850 I wanted the bike to look stock so I bought yellow chromate (I think) plated screws from Z1 Enterprises.

Z1 Enterprises specializes in quality Motorcycle parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 1970's and 1980's.

That kits looks good, just ordered.

Either of you order his total engine bolt kit? I bought the z1 kit for a little
bit less, but got no washers or instructions. Easy enough to figure out, I think, if one already had the engine apart, but doing it cover by cover I'm sure I'll end up with one missing/one mis-fit. Half done now anyway, but if his kit is good, I might add it to the xmas list just to have more SS hardware on hand.

I bought their GS1100 kit for my bike, was missing 5 bolts total. They shipped the first one I found for the stator cover but the rest would have taken too long so I didn't bother msging them.

I've used Burk's Motorsport for stainless bolt kits. These are the guys Z1 Enterprises uses.
