protecting aluminum
Hello, I am rebuilding the carbs on my gs650g. I figure while I am at it I am cleaning the bowls and tops to shine them up. Has anyone tried spraying them with Lacquer to protect them or does someone have a better idea. I know the 2 outside ones had some type of clear coat on them from the factory.Tags: None

I'm not a big fan of clear coatings myself. They look good until they look bad, then they look REAL bad.Polish, then a little love now and then works for me.Cheers,Simon.http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...esMapSimon.jpg
