    Best place for carb kits?

Looking for where to go for 4 VM carb kits for the 1000, just ordered my o-rings from cycleorings.com and the gaskets on the carbs need replacement now.

Where's the place to go for these?

Z1 Enterprises. Ask for Rob. He will fix you up fine.

The stock Mikuki jets are superior in most cases so it's recommended to reuse them unless you have a specific need to change them. Z1 sells gaskets by themselves which is a good choice.

I found K&L brand kits on-line for $19 each. They had everything, even a few spare parts.

Yeah, there are 'spare parts', but sometimes those parts are of lesser quality and will introduce new problems to your bike.

About the only part(s) you really need would be the bowl gaskets and maybe the float valves. Each of them is available separately much cheaper than the kits, and you won't have to worry about keeping track of some questionable parts.
