    260mm rotors

Does anyone know where I can get some 260mm rotors for the GS? What year/model had them?

What size do you have on your 750 front wheel at the present time?

current rotors are 275mm, and they are slightly too large.

There are no 260mm rotors. There are the 274mm & the 296mm from the single disk model 550.

If something is not lining up then you have something that is not stock on the fork or caliper.

Sorry Dan. But I must disagree. There is definitely a 260mm disc off the twin disc model.

don, your picture shows a REAR disc, imho

i would think the front ones came in TWO different sizes only, the larger one being used on some single-front-disc models

                    i've been wrong

ok, scratch my last comment regards the disc sizes
                    and accept my apology

over the gs years suzuki used the following disc sizes
                    260
                    270
                    275
                    280
                    297
all sizes in milimeters, applicable on 750 and up gs models
(btw, i could NOT find that 260 was ever used in the FRONT)

                    more info here:

bear in mind that usa models may be different to whats listed on that site...

PSYGUY hi. Are all the discs that you quoted above and gave the sizes to off front wheels. The 260mm disc I bought was supposed to be off the front of a GS according to the person I bought it off from the GS Site.

                      Thanks.

PSYGUY how do you navigate that GS Classic site that you put up. As I don't speak german it is a challenge for me. I clicked on the English flag but only the home page was in english. The following pages were still in German. Is there a trick that I haven't mastered yet. Please help me out. Where do I find the front disc sizes you quoted on his site.

                        thanks

don, i speak some german so that certainly makes it easier

click in the following order from the home page:
                          english
                          modelle (models)
(scroll for your desired model, eg: 750B,DB,C)
                          techniche daten (techical info)
                          bremsen (brakes)

                          ----

                          scheibendurchmesser - means disc diameter
                          vorn - means front
                          hinten - means rear

                          ----

repeat for other models (note not all models have all the technical data available)

you got my post before i edited it - NO, i could not find 260 as a FRONT size on any 750 and up model
but do bear in mind all the little differences suzuki did for various markets, so that website is not exhaustive
