    forks/ brakes question.

ok i recentlu replaced my forkes with some others.

so i got that all set , now the front brakes are rubbing .. its not the pads .. its the inside of the caliper.. as youre looking from the front right side caliper furthest from the wheel. thoughts on this.. same brakes disc and calipers same wheel .. just diff forks

Evidently the mounting pads are different.

Are the forks from the same model bike, or different?

      mounting pads.. ?
      im not getting you .

its the same brakes calipers frt. wheel .every thing ecept for the tubes.

i have tried to give a little play and twist them jut a little but nothing ..
if i lossen the axle nut and the caliper then its o.k. it rotates. but ifi tighten ither of these it doesent moove.. i was thinking of putting a washer in btwix the caliper so it would have the space it needs.
      ?

Marz, your explanation is not real clear. Maybe a pic would help.

Did you change just the sliding tubes or did you change the fork lowers too? If you changed the lowers then maybe they were meant to be in a triple tree that's wider & now the calipers are sitting too close or something?
