    82 GS1100GK - Rebuilding Front Forks

My front forks are so soft they need rebuilt now. Never rebuilt forks ever so need to get all the parts to replace everything and if anyone has a copy of a manual on what the layout of the parts are and most of all some advice is always welcomed.

Thank you for any help you can offer me as this will be a first time repair for me and I want to do it right.

I replaced the front fork springs on my 83gs1100gk with progressive, about 80 bucks. It was not to hard to do. If you do a search here you will find alot of posts on the subject. You will need the springs and seals and some fork oil. If you go on most sites like bikedandit you can look at the parts.

and see what your up against. Good luck
