Best place to get new brakes?

I checked z1 and I don't think they sell brakes for an '82 gs850gl. Bike bandit had some (I need just the rear pads) but $41 for a set of pads seems a bit steep...any suggestions?

    Local Suzi Dealer...

$41 sounds a little high. I got mine from the dealer and don't recall how much I paid, but I don't think it was as much as that....coulda been though....

I just got two sets of front and one for the rear off ebay for 23.87 apiece. You can find the ebay store I used here. Although they seem to be selling less of the EBC Carbon/Kevlar organic brakes and selling more of the Metallic Sintered pads, and selling those for only 13.99.

what is the difference, performance and longevity wise, between organic and the metallic?

Find out if the pads are the same for other year 850's. Brake planet has them for 14 dollars for the rear and 29 dollars for the front but i only saw 79 and 80, 81

http://repairmanuals.com sells brake pads for reasonable sums.

And some other stuff, too, like repair manuals...
