do I have tubes in my tires
Is there a way to tell if my tires have tubes in them before taking them off? I have tubeless tires on wheels not marked tubeless (from the PO). I'm heading to change them today and want to know if I should pick up tubes on the way. Thanks in advance.Tags: None

impossible to tell from model/year or anything like that.. the PO may have put them in, taken them out..
....put them in a tubeless rim and filled the tube with fix a flat... 3 pounds of fix a flat.... ya, my PO was dumb.

Look at the valve stem, or better yet, loosen the nut on the outside and see if it's a tube stem or a bolt-on stem.Ed
To measure is to know.

It's simple to tell if you know what you are looking at. Hard to explain if you don't.
Basically, 'tubeless' will be fatter (or have some kind of seal) where the stem sits against the rim so as to seal the air in. The problem is, you need to know what 'tubed' looks like as a comparison.
