    Turn signal socket

Alright.......I've been having problems with my right rear turnsignal, so I took the puppy apart to have a look and low and behold there was an incredible amount of condensation there, everything's all rusted up. The wires look good, but the bulb is fused to the socket, due to rust.

Well, being the ingenius person I am, I cut out the socket and tried to find a replacement, no luck. Does it matter what type of socket goes in there? does anyone know where to find a replacement? Canadian tire and walmart sell the bulbs, but not the sockets.

If you have running lights on your bike, then you need a double-filament type.
If not, you need a single filament type.

Canadian Tire or Princess Auto should be able to supply a pigtail socket, as they are standard stock items...ask for the part by that name.

UAP or any other automotive store should also be able to help you.

I bought some beat up turn signals on eBay, then used the parts to repair one of mine.
