    rear wheel spacers

    sigh this is a stupid question and I dont have book yet for the gs1000. So here it is. I pulled the rear wheel off a couple of days ago. Now I cant remember how the spacers went in. I have a total on three spacers.......

        If its a GS1000. the thicker one goes on the sprocket side. The one with a flange goes inbetween the hub and caliper bracket and the thinner one between the caliper bracket and the swingarm. And make sure the stepped spacer inbetween the sprocket carrier and the hub is in place.
