    Carb Vest Hose placement

I'm ready to reinstall my freshly-cleaned, new o-ringed carbs. I have one question that I'm embarrassed to ask but must-there are two rubber tubes that fit on, one between 1 and 2, and the other between 3 and 4. I was not able to photograph where they go, I can't find it in the manual or the GSR carb document and I can't remember-they are vent tubes-do they attach somewhere and I have to find the fitting, or do they just hang down?

Sorry-Title should say Carb Vent Hose Placement

Most GS’s route the vents up on top of the battery/airbox – open to the atmosphere.
